Academic Calendar

The Qalam Seminary runs on a standard fall to spring academic year calendar. In addition to time off for Eid, students receive a fall, winter, and spring break. Classes are in session during Ramadan but with an adjusted timetable to accommodate students’ ʿībādah and schedules.

    Last Day to Receive a Deposit Refund: August 17th, 2024

    First Day of Classes: Sunday, August 18th, 2024.

    Early Bird Discount Deadline: Friday, August 23rd, 2024

    Last Day to Add a Class: Thursday, August 29th, 2024.

    Last Day to Drop a Class with a Refund: Thursday, September 12th, 2024. Note that the deposit will not be refunded.

    Fall Break: Sunday, November 24th, 2024 – Sunday, December 1st, 2024. (Classes resume Monday, December 2nd, 2024)

    Winter Break: Sunday, December, 22nd, 2024 — Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. (Classes resume Sunday, January 5th, 2025)

    Midwinter Break: Sunday, February 16th, 2025 — Sunday, February 23rd, 2025. (Classes resume Monday, February 24th, 2025)

    Period 6: 2:15 – 3:00pm
